Villa Galicia Orange Honey

This honey processed coffee was grown by Mauricio A. Salaverria in the Concepcion de Ataco region of El Salvador between 1,350 meters above sea level.
Villa Galicia has 12 hectares of coffee, growing under approximately 50% natural shade cover - a veritable coffee jungle - including many traditional and some rare varieties such as Bourbon, Gesha, Pacamara, Maragogype. Mauricio has installed a wet mill on the farm which uses harvested rain water for processing washed coffees, and has rows of drying beds on the edge of the farm, where a the breeze that climbs the hill aids the even steady drying of the harvested seeds.
